"Downtown Parade"
In 1961 an Elk's Lodge carnival parade rolled down Delmas Ave. with a theme of "7 Flags Over Pascagoula" .  More important than the parade are the businesses that touched the lives of just about everyone here.  Such as: Brumfield's, Penney's,  Feldman's, Austin's, TG&Y, Sears, Western Auto, and others.  Some remember visits to the dentists office over Brumfield's.  Hopefully this painting will help us to hold onto our memories of yesteryears.
