"Longfellow House"
The Longfellow House overlooks the Mississippi Sound from the beach of Pascagoula.  Built in 1850 it drew its name from a connection with the famed poet.  Closed and left for ruin, the home was recently saved and restored by the Scruggs family of Pascagoula.  Amidst the conflict of whether and how often outdoor bands should once again serenade the grounds, this antebellum Greek revival mansion still reminds us of the beauty and romance of the South.
