"Longfellow House Swimming Pool"

 

The long, hot summer days of Pascagoula were cooled off by a dip in the local swimming pools. One if these pools was the private Longfellow House Swimming Pool on the beach. Many hours, both day and night, were spent playing Alligator Charge, Marco Polo, Shuffleboard and sipping pink lemonade (charged to Daddy’s account) while sunbathing. The pool is now gone but our memories of it are still well intact. E
