Many smaller southern cities have their hometown grocery stores.  In Pascagoula, we have Wayne Lee's and Jerry Lee's that have been around for years.  Shopping at both stores is more than just a road trip to the store for milk and eggs.  No doubt, while shopping you will see someone you know, someone you haven't seen in years or maybe someone that you don’t want to see.  During one of those quick trips to the store for bread, we ran into and socialized with friends, Richard & Mary Jon Lucas and Abby Walker.  It was then that the idea to paint "Checkin' out at Jerry Lee's" was conceived.  Copyright 2007
