Built around 1896 as a street, railway and power
company, the Pascagoula Ice House is the oldest
continuing operational business in Jackson
County, MS. At one time, it was the street
car barn which housed the streetcars running from
the point in Pascagoula to the Dantzler Mill in
Moss Point.
